Engage the Audience and have a more productive event

The use of audience response systems has increased in popularity in the past number of years. The main reason for this is the immediate benefits and the improved user experience that is generated when the system is implemented into any training, business or educational environment.

I was at a medical devices conference in Brussels last week and the participants were very impressed with how the technology worked and how the results of their voting came directly up on the Powerpoint screen.  This then enables the group to discuss the finding and input there own opinions and recommendations on the topics covered. The event organisers were also able to gather feedback of how the event went overall and if the participants were satisfied with what they had learned and to determine what there own expectations were in attending the event.  The organisers can then use these results for future events.

The audience response system improved the attentiveness of the audience as the topics covered were very heavy and this gave them some time out to reflect and use what they had learned to form an opinion.
